(Just when We Thought We Saw It All; Here Comes The Intelligence Automation Company I.A.C.)
If the Private Sector could create a product that could guarantee genius, would this be a good or bad thing? Who would benefit? What would be the cost and would there be a net gain or lost to the economy?
Real Estate Broker and Economist, Dennis Allums, holds a degree in International Economics from the University of California @ Berkeley and states, “Ignoring the impracticality of the scenario, that everyone could indeed become a genius, i.e., a work force that requires salaries proportional to this genius intelligence level; I believe there would be an overall net lost to the economy, not just in the increased cost of all these new brilliant minds on the market place who would undoubtedly require salaries reflective of such brilliance, but also, and possibly most significantly, there would not be enough cheap labor to run the bare bone parts of a fully functioning economy.”
So should the attainment of a brilliant populace even be a goal of society? He clarifies, “I don’t think it’s a conversation about making a world or country of geniuses as much as eliminating illiteracy which seems to be a key component of poverty. We propose the improving of the current educational system, starting at the preschool levels, initially, and based on our success there, expanding it upward at designated intervals. It is our opinion that increased literacy has an inverse relationship on poverty thus as literacy increases, the level of poverty will decrease.”
Many parts of society have given up on our more problematic cases; believing no since focusing on the few over the many. Others, like Mr. Allums still have hope as they focus on new methods to assist those who need it. In fact he believes many companies are coming up with some new and unusual, even ingenious techniques; he feels his company has too. “What we have created is something we call Intelligence Automation, which is, when you don’t know the answer, have tried to get the right answer, yet cant; and if after the use of some new technique or software, you suddenly get the answer right; then your intelligence has been automated as it can now do what it could not before.”
So there they were, with software that they claimed could make anyone smarter, almost instantly; one problem, “No one believed us, let alone even wanted to try our product; and then those who did, after wards did not want to give us credit for being the difference. They just felt they were simply smarter. We were totally ignored. We needed to prove we had a way of making people with an I.Q. of X, a unit smarter than X after and simply because of our software.”
Creating an ingenious product would not do on it’s own, they had to create the right version of an ingenious product and they had to do it in a way that even the greatest of skeptics could not refute. “It was becoming more and more impractical to accomplish our goal. Many of the original players on our team gave up. I was ready to give up. For a while I was the only one left and although pretty gifted with math, I was in no way at the level that they were. It was a road to far and we were out of money. I was out of money. I thought to myself, its over.”
One day, after over year of advances in the designing the higher levels (advanced calculus), he came to an epiphany, “It just hit me one day, how to make an unbelieving world believe and it was right there in front of our face.” They needed subjects of the most minimal level of intelligence, even to the point of not being able to formulate sentences; yet, after applying our software/process the group could all of the sudden do the same problems they could not due yesterday. The skeptics would have to admit that this group was indeed smarter and it was indeed because of their Intelligence Automation Software.
“We spent nearly week looking into different possibilities and the only individuals qualifying for such an experiment were 2-3 year old kids, for they would most certainly qualify as having minimal intelligence; and if time after time they were able to do hundreds of algebra problems without ever getting any of them wrong, a day after not being able to do one, then we would be undeniable. We would have arrived.” The only question was, could they really do it? “We changed our name from The Intelligence Automation Company (TIAC) to Algebra Mind, (Now a derivative of TIAC) and for the next few months, we painstakingly took step 1 Algebra, the most rudimentary form of Algebra and applied our intelligence automation process and came up with The Vertical Balancing Technique (VBT) for individuals who had zero ability to do Algebra; The only requirement of the two to three year olds we were targeting was that they have the ability to count to ten, nothing else.”
He says day after day, week after week, the results were the same; dozens of kids, doing Hundreds of problems with hundreds of correct answers. The only question task left for them was to prove whether it was true learning or just some trick resulting in the right answer over and over again. He never planned to, but it was clear he had to expand the test population and see if they could achieve real world results by using real people/students in real pass/fail situations. They then branched out, using Algebra Mind on real students, usually in junior high or high school, ages 12-16; all having one thing in common, never acquiring the ability to do even the most rudimentary form of Algebra. “Yes, we were astounded by how many kids had been simply passed through the cracks, even to the point of them almost dropping out of High School. It was the perfect testing ground, fertile with what many believed to be hopeless situations. We disagreed.” It was game time for their group for in the end, the ultimate test would be, could this work in the real world, to real students, in real life situations, resulting in them making real life progress and if their product could advance these individuals in their current life situations then their product would not just be considered intelligence enhancing for reading a book is that, but intelligence automation, immediately advancing one’s intelligence primarily because of their software oppose to any other source.
“For step 1 and step 2 Algebra, we use the Vertical Balancing Technique or VBT (Each subsequent level requires the creation of a new Technique). For example, envision a 2-3 year old (Not You) working on the problem below. Remember the goal of product is to help them learn higher levels of Algebra, at lower age levels resulting in increased levels of intelligence accomplished at a very young age resulting in stimulated dendrites that connect to more cells resulting in higher intelligence. We would like all of our students to be doing calculus by age 8.

Even if the child can do the simple step 1 problem the standard way, the superiority of the Vertical Balancing Technique (VBT) cannot be denied. Remember the point of our product is not to get the answer right; it isn’t even to teach a superior process. It’s to stimulate the dendrites of the brain at an early age increasing the likelihood of brilliance.
There were five of us working over night. We came up with numerous versions but as usual the point was not to create a way to do complex or abstract math but to do it with as minimal mental effort while attaining maximum intellectual return.

Why replace 5 with V because kids no what taking an object or candy away means even when they can’t add. Again, the goal is to get kids to due highly advanced math as soon as they can thus V-V is used over 5-5 for a 2-3 year old that would not even be thinking about step 2 algebra, this is key.

Again, this version is just to give an idea about how step II would work and is only partially representative of the first of several future more complicated algorithms. . It’s actually much different. More simpler and the benefits are massively better. The worst-case scenario is that we are requiring kids to learn another way of thinking and what’s wrong with that. Remember this is not a requirement it is only for parents who believe their kids would benefit with our software. In fact the initial idea was to create software that makes inner city kids smarter and thus reduce crime through expanding intelligence. Today we realize it is bigger than that although we are ready to go to this as our base market first. Oh those skeptics.
So where do they go from here?
Today, their Automated Intelligence Company has decided to go the route of Crowd Funding.
“It’s perfect. We fulfill all the criteria:
- We are a unique product
- We have fulfill a need no one else does
- The product makes the world a better place
- We have a legitimate product and company fully functioning and are simply seeking finishing funds.
- We have the first version, level 1 of the product tested and ready for delivery.
- We have a full functioning website where the public can interact with
- We have worked out all the quirks. We know where the problems lies and how to fix it.
- Despite the complexity of what we’re doing we don’t need lots of funds to complete it.
When one considers the time TIAC has spent on the process (Over 10 years), you can only come to the conclusion that they are one serious and dedicated group who fully understands the skepticism involved in such a revolutionary product and process. “We understood that making one level for Calculus or Algebra, alone, meant nothing. We needed all the levels done, on paper, in advance, for only then could it be considered a game changer. Looking back over the years, our mistake was trying to come up with one process for all math steps; now, we have different processes for different levels. This one change has made all the difference and all we have left to do is hire a staff to spend the time and energy to get us across the last 10 yards.”
